Where does the meat come from?

Where possible, we use the best possible – meaning animal-friendly – options. For example, our spare ribs come from organically raised pigs, and we frequently use Shannon beef and Dutch dual-purpose cows. We also use wild game for certain dishes, such as our bitterballen (venison).

Our meat is not halal, but our chicken dishes are butchered halal in the initial process. However, we cannot guarantee that the further processing meets halal standards, nor do we hold a halal certification for these processes. We do offer vegetarian options on our menu.
