Are you the administrative all-rounder who ensures a strong foundation within our department, allowing our HR processes to run smoothly? Do you thrive on structure, organization, and supporting employees and managers – and do you have a passion for hospitality?

Within our dynamic HR team (consisting of an HR Manager, HR Advisor, and Recruiter), we have a place for a detail-oriented and service-minded HR Administrative Assistant. Together, from our two offices in Amsterdam, we provide top-tier HR services to more than 20 hospitality businesses, including Cannibale Royale, Hannekes Boom, Café Nieuw Amsterdam, Hotel Omega, and Aloha.

What you’ll be doing:

As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for the administrative foundation of our HR processes. You ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your daily tasks include:

  • Processing employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, transfers, offboarding) in our HR system, AFAS. This includes drafting employment contracts and addenda as well as handling wage garnishments.
  • Managing and responding to employee and manager inquiries via our HR inboxes.
  • Processing payroll changes and verifying salary payments.
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of administrative processes, such as contract extensions and probation period registrations.
  • Generating reports to provide valuable insights to the organization.
  • Identifying improvements in our administrative processes and contributing ideas for optimization.

You will be part of a professional and dedicated HR team where collaboration, learning from each other, and continuous improvement are key. Your contribution to building a strong foundation is indispensable.

What we offer:

  • A salary between €2,400 – €2,900 (scale 5, hospitality collective labor agreement), depending on your experience and skills.

What you bring:

  • A completed MBO degree in HR or payroll administration.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar administrative HR role.
  • You are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • You have strong communication skills, a service-minded approach, and a high level of integrity.
