Dit zesde hoofdstuk van Cannibale Royale bevindt zich in het drukke stadscentrum van Rotterdam, naast het Transformer-beeld en het skatepark. Geniet van je favoriete maaltijd met lokale drankjes terwijl je skaters in de halfpipe hun moves ziet maken. Een plek die je niet mag missen op de levendigste boulevard van Rotterdam.

Deze locatie bevindt zich in de Pijp, nabij het Museumplein in het culturele hart van Amsterdam. De Ruysdaelkade wordt gekenmerkt door een meer lokale menigte, aangezien dit gebied erg populair is onder de hippe menigte van de stad.

Yum yum yum. It’s a pretty big place, so big groups or dinner with colleagues are fitting here. The restaurant is French inspired. The steak was juicy and flavourful, even a the well done steak was juicy. I recommended getting the sweet potato fries! Moreover, great service.

Went here two times during our Amsterdam stay. The handsome guy actually remembered where we sat last time, and this time, he didn’t forget the fork! 😋 We were lucky haha! The food was really good. I especially liked the pork belly, garlic bread and brownie. Highly recommend it if you ever come here! 🇳🇱🍻

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. We will definitely visit again when in Rotterdam. The “Le Sympathique (200GR)”, a smooth grain-fed Australian Bavette Steak, was simply mouth-watering good. I had it medium-well. The burger was also a fantastic choice. Great quality meat. The Crispy Cauliflower Bites were a unique delight! The cocktails were also great. I will certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rotterdam. There are several nearby parking garages (5-10 minutes walking distance). Plenty of hotels in the vicinity as well.

We made a reservation as we knew ot os quite buzy. We ordered Tomahawk steak, and it was delicious. Try the garlic bread and end the meal with their fantactic cheesecake. The waiters are very polite and helpful. Prices are reasonable for the high quality they offer.

It is the best restaurant for steaks and ribs in Amsterdam. I had the beef short rib with a side of fries. It is one of the best ribs I have ever had. Also, the fries are the best fries I’ve had in Amsterdam. They were thin, crispy, and fresh. The service was very good and quick, and the restaurant’s location is great. To be honest, even the price is great for a steakhouse. I highly recommend it, and I’ll visit it again in my next trip to Amsterdam.

Went for lunch, good menu with a variety of sandwiches to choose from. Good amount of meat on them but nothing to really write home about. We tried the short ribs sandwich (juicy meat but lacked sauce/flavour), and the tartare one which was similar, loads of meat but with only 4 thin flavourful pickle slices for the whole thing. Best thing were the chicken wings we took as appetizer: perfect texture and excellent sauce. Cocktails were good, but whole order took over 40 minutes before it was brought to our table. Considering the competition around, happy to have tried it but wouldn't go again.

Don't miss the pork belly side! I had the Classic burger or something, basic burger with bacon, cheddar, onions…spot on. With a side of sweet potato fries because why would you not do sweet potato fries instead of fries EVER. But the star a Was the 100grams of Pork Belly with bbq sauce, pickled red onions a huge sliced pickle. The pork belly was crispy, charred a bit and REALLY hit the spot. 10 outta 10 so glad I stopped in. Thanks guys!

I’m a fan and I’ve visited all the branches, lol. The burger is the best in Amsterdam (as expected). The only downside: they tend to dry out the pork belly here. At the Rozenrecht branch, it’s always tender and amazing. I keep forgetting not to order it at this location!

A very funky spot inside, and a kind of “funky” space outside. Inside very eclectic, outside, unfortunately there is a bunch of say 8-10 overflowing garbage bins immediately across from the outside dining tables, not exactly ideal for eating. We chose to eat inside. The food was very good, the service was spotty, the environment was a treat for the senses.

All around an awesome stop. I have the classic burger and it had so much flavor. It was a great piece of meat. The staff was super kind and the bar tender was awesome. He was very go lucky and outgoing to everyone. The atmosphere of the place is pretty chill/social. Darker with music playing. Awesome decor with vintage style pictures all over the wall. Definitely worth a stop

A friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The hotel is near here so I’ve eaten here a couple times. I would definitely recommend a steak. Mine was perfect. Their Pale Ale on draft is currently the 2 Chefs Brewery, Funky Falcon, it is also delicious.

I took the short ribs. Must say that the meat was super tender and delicious. But for the price of 33.5€, the there is only one rib and the portion was quite small. I went home still hungry.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible experience at Cannibals Royale in Amsterdam! 🏙️✨ Visited with friends, and it was absolutely lovely. The atmosphere and vibe are super relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind. 🕯️ The food is out of this world. 🌟 vegetarian offering. I was so impressed by the options; I didn’t feel left out at all! 🥗💚 And let’s talk about the desserts… divine is the only word! 🍰😋 The staff and service? Spot on. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. 🙌 Can’t wait to come back!

This time, we chose the tartare starter, the Le Magnifique burger, and the Le Cannibale Royale burger. Everything was delicious, but for me, the tartare stood out as the most exceptional culinary experience. Among the desserts, the brownie was fantastic, while the fruity sauce on the cheesecake was perhaps a bit overpowering. Overall, it was a good experience, and the service was fast and friendly.

Cauliflower steak was surprisingly good for me as a non vegetarian, steak was tender with good flavour (medium rare shown in the picture) and reasonable price in Amsterdam but lack of crust. Good environment but slightly packful and noisy, service I give 4/5 because they broke a glass in front of me luckily no one get hurt. Overall, good food and dining experience.

This restaurant is definitely easy to miss—hidden in plain sight—but once you find it, it has a quirky charm and a cozy, intimate vibe that sets it apart. We ordered the ribs, which were tender and had a subtle, smoky flavor—not overpowering, which I actually liked. That said, the portion size was a letdown. Both of our plates came out noticeably smaller than what’s pictured online… and even smaller than what the table next to us received. A little consistency and quality control would go a long way here. We also tried the lobster tail. While nicely cooked, it felt underwhelming for the price. The menu says 140g, but it looked and felt like less—hard to say, but it didn’t quite meet expectations. They accept split bills if you come with friends. Overall, there’s potential here. The food tastes good, the ambiance is charming, but they need to work on delivering what’s promised—especially when it comes to portions.

What can I say… Cannibale Royale was an amazing discovery! But the real magic is on the plate: every dish was an explosion of flavor! The meat was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of taste. The sides were just as impressive, carefully prepared and perfectly balanced. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the quality and attention to detail. I had a really good experience at Cannibale Royale in Amsterdam. The quality of the meat was great—tender, and cooked just right. The service was also nice, with friendly and welcoming staff. Good cocktails card. Liked homemade fries. The Caesar salad was good, though I’d suggest using a little less mayonnaise—just a recommendation for the chef. Also tried the baked Camembert, which I liked, though I prefer a milder taste. The spiciness might have been the chef’s choice, but I would have preferred it less spicy. Overall, a positive experience. A solid restaurant!

Was out first time at Nord location. What can I say – was a totally positive experience. We had a dinner for three persons there, and was pleasantly surprised by service and overall stuff friendliness. Food was very good, portions are just about right sized. 5/5 and would come back again soon here.

Never knew that the old location of Brasilbinkie had been taken over by such a great restaurant with an amazing selection of carnivorous dishes. My friends and I had heard about it and decided we had to try it. We were kindly welcomed at the reception, and after giving our reservation details we were swiftly seated. The service staff was friendly, youthful, and well put together. They first offered us drinks from their fine selection, ranging from dark and pale ales to ginger beer and sodas. After that, we placed our appetizer and main course orders. One friend ordered the bittergarnituur with mustard, followed by beef ribs with chimichurri and mac and cheese on the side. Another friend went for the chicken wings as a starter, then also had the beef ribs with chimichurri, with regular fries as his side. I ordered the bread with garlic butter to start, and then their renowned beef ribs with chimichurri, paired with sweet potato fries. The appetizers were appropriately sized and easy to share around the table. All were tasty and served at a good temperature. The standout of the round was the chicken wings—something I’ll definitely order next time. The beef ribs were the highlight. Everyone at the table was raving about how tender the meat was, practically falling apart with little resistance to the knives. The chimichurri complemented it perfectly. Because of the generous portion sizes, we asked for containers to take some of the mains home, and the staff happily obliged. All in all, a great experience that I’ll happily recommend to others.

There was an event nearby that we were attending in the evening, and we thought we’d grab a quick dinner beforehand. There happened to be one table left for two, and the service was very fast and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! We had a Le Classique and an L’Excentrique burger, and for dessert, we shared the selection platter, which was not only tasty but also a huge portion. We enjoyed divine flavours in a pleasant atmosphere with great service. Highly recommended!

If you’re craving American-style burgers and steaks, this is the place to be. I started with the chicken wings, which were flavorful and satisfying, and then had the Classic Beef Burger — cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the lively atmosphere and great energy of the restaurant made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great burger spot in Amsterdam.

The place is very charming and cosy, with a great table layout. The staff is very friendly and takes care of their customers. With regards to the food, it was delicious and very tasty, I completely recommend the 300gr steak and the canibale burger. I ordered an Espresso Martini as dessert, and there is a lot to improve, it has a very coffee watery taste, missing out the right proportion of the cafe liquor. Other than that, 100% recommend and I will go back for sure.

Such a great place! The ONLY place we found in the area where they still were serving food past 11pm (23:00). Highly recommend! Mark it as there is NO place that serves food that late! And everything was delicious (a gem for a meat lovers)! 10/10! There was a bit of a delay with drinks and food for everybody as they were SO busy (and it’s understandable regarding the delay). The place was packed at midnight. Interesting eclectic interior, they played cool music too. Loved everything about this restaurant. A lot of locals and it is always a sign i am looking for when traveling 😉 our server Ivo was so busy and still was friendly, professional and attentive! Will be back for sure when in Amsterdam next time. I also liked that they have suggestions for beer/wine in the menu next to a position you choose. Great cocktail menu too.

최고의 레스토랑! 직장동료 추천으로 처음 갔는데 이젠 암스에서 몇 년째 가고 있는 찐 맛집이에요. 부모님이랑 셀카 찍고 있는데 직원분이 다가와 가족 사진 찍어준다고 했을 정도로 정말 다들 친절했습니다 🙂 My parents flew all the way from South Korea to visit me, so I wanted to make sure they had the best experience possible in Amsterdam. A colleague recommended this restaurant, and I’m so glad we followed their advice bc it was absolutely worth it!! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They took the time to recommend the best dishes on the menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. The rib steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful gesture from one of the staff members. While we were taking a selfie, she kindly offered to take a proper family photo for us. It’s little things like that that turn a good dinner into a genuinely heartwarming memory. ☺️ My parents said it was the most delicious meal they had in Amsterdam, and I couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for a meaningful family dinner or a place to share a special moment with loved ones, I highly recommend this restaurant! 🩷🩷

Delicious food,I always get the chicken wings ,the burger because is always full of things and super tasty, the Madame blanche ( dessert) is also fabulous, the staff is amazing and really friendly and always available for you if you need it even though they are busy , in some places is a bit too hot or especially next to the kitchen the smell can be really strong, but cannibale royale is one of my favourite restaurant in Amsterdam and I m always trying to go there twice a month.
