Dit zesde hoofdstuk van Cannibale Royale bevindt zich in het drukke stadscentrum van Rotterdam, naast het Transformer-beeld en het skatepark. Very cozy burger and steak place. We ordered 2 different burgers. The Cannibale Royal one was great, very balanced taste. The sauce was a bit too much, taking a bit of the patty flavor. The chicken burger has an Indonesian touch, with chili sauce, very well made. Sweet potato fries were also nice. The service was great too. I recommend dining here.

Cannibale Royale Rozengracht is an absolute winner when it comes to great food. The burger I had was incredibly tasty, juicy, full of flavor, and cooked just right. The quality of the ingredients really stands out, and for Dutch standards, the prices are quite reasonable. The service was also very good; staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere fits perfectly with the concept casual but stylish. I’d definitely come back again for another meal. Highly recommended!

Stopped by after a long day of walking around. This place was reccomend by a bar a few blocks away at having the best steaks, so I decided to give them a try. Sat at the bar. Ordered a steak medium with fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries hot & crispy. Bartender was friendly & chatty, which is always a plus. Would definitely stop by next time around. Reasonably priced as well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible experience at Cannibals Royale in Amsterdam! 🏙️✨ Visited with friends, and it was absolutely lovely. The atmosphere and vibe are super relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind. 🕯️ The food is out of this world. 🌟 vegetarian offering. I was so impressed by the options; I didn’t feel left out at all! 🥗💚 And let’s talk about the desserts… divine is the only word! 🍰😋 The staff and service? Spot on. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. 🙌 Can’t wait to come back!

최고의 레스토랑! 직장동료 추천으로 처음 갔는데 이젠 암스에서 몇 년째 가고 있는 찐 맛집이에요. 부모님이랑 셀카 찍고 있는데 직원분이 다가와 가족 사진 찍어준다고 했을 정도로 정말 다들 친절했습니다 🙂 My parents flew all the way from South Korea to visit me, so I wanted to make sure they had the best experience possible in Amsterdam. A colleague recommended this restaurant, and I’m so glad we followed their advice bc it was absolutely worth it!! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They took the time to recommend the best dishes on the menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. The rib steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful gesture from one of the staff members. While we were taking a selfie, she kindly offered to take a proper family photo for us. It’s little things like that that turn a good dinner into a genuinely heartwarming memory. ☺️ My parents said it was the most delicious meal they had in Amsterdam, and I couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for a meaningful family dinner or a place to share a special moment with loved ones, I highly recommend this restaurant! 🩷🩷

I am not a meat eater, but my boyfriend is. He said his bavette was really good. I had an amazing lobster tail. It was cooked properly and really tender. All the sides were a nice addition too. The corn was lovely, but it could use some more salt. I really love the cozy and homey style of the restaurant. Will come again.

Outstanding BBQ meat! Though it was packed they managed to still squeeze in our party of 3 to each. Service was attentive and quick. Food took a bit of time to come out, but that's to be expected on a very busy night!

The atmosphere and food is fantastic, no issue there, really recommend the food. The problem is service, everything was so good until end of dinner when we asked to split a bill. Waitress told us that she has no time, left the bill on our table and told To ask her colleagues. Then we met her second time and double check if she could help us or we should go to the bar to pay. She was very unhappy and that was clearly visible on her face and emotions. She said she doesn’t know how to do this. We politely explained that every restaurant does that plus we have to pay separately because this is a business dinner and we have to provide the bills(we shouldn’t have to explain our self, but still we politely explained). This is not a mission impossible. Anyways the waitress was like – “ok what are the amounts….” And after paying separately we even apologized even when we shouldn’t have, then the waitress said- I am so annoyed when people ask to split.. then we explained our self second time.. honestly I understand when you are busy and tired but this is not justifying bad customer service. If you cannot keep your emotions and opinions to your self- this work is not for you.

A nice unpretentious American style pub with more options than you would ordinarily get in the US. The room and the atmosphere are exactly as expected and I guess you shouldn’t come for a local flair. The food is excellent and, again, recognizable. The burger has all the usual toppings, not overdone, the patty is steakhouse style and they will make it med rare if you want (I do want it on the rare side if the meat is good). The tartar, the nachos, the roasted chicken, the broccoli and cauliflower, the Mac and cheese, all were cooked exactly right so no complaints at all really, just pick according to your preference. Good and lively, reasonably priced. Recommended.

We had beer and red wine for drinks, along with sandwiches and a burger for food—everything was delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and had a great authentic feel. The only downside was that the French fries were a bit too small, and the service could have been better. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would definitely recommend this place!

I went in with my girlfriend and another couple for my friends birthday. It was great food with great staff and great service! If you are in doubt to try to eat here, don’t hesitate and call them to come in. You will not regret it and i can probably assure you that you will be back here soon! On my pictures: Whole chicken, Tomahawk, Lil’ Ceasar and Mac ‘n Cheese. Enjoy!

The food is truly exceptional, nothing to say about the quality! However, the service could be improved. The waiters just take the order without a smile or a minimum of enthusiasm, which makes the experience less enjoyable. Good service makes a difference, so I suggest working a bit on the attitude—a smile and some kindness never hurt! Also, we were told that the table had to be cleared due to many reservations, but we stayed at the bar for over 40 minutes after finishing our meal, and there were still several empty tables. This kind of pressure is not ideal for those who want to enjoy their evening calmly and maybe keep ordering. That said, I will definitely come back because the food is fantastic, but I hope to find a more welcoming service next time. Smile a little more—life is beautiful! With love! ❤️

We had an incredible experience at Cannibale Royale Handboogstraat. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We had booked a couple of months in advance to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the communication with the staff via email beforehand was excellent. The restaurant itself is very cozy and atmospheric, perfect for a special occasion. As for the food—it was absolutely phenomenal. We tried the short ribs, Cannibale Royale’s favorite ribs, the tomahawk steak, and the chicken wings. Every single dish was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and of superb quality. It’s hard to describe just how delicious everything was—you really have to experience it for yourself. Highly recommended and truly a must-visit in Amsterdam!

Coming here for the third time, after ordering my second burger, I must advise that there’s nothing special about their burgers. Plus, fries were terribly oversalted, which we couldn’t eat. Somehow, they only decided to deduct one of the fries off the bill, which we thought was strange. Nevertheless, the nacho was absolutely stunning. Service is quite acceptable and easy to find parking around at a very reasonable rate compared to central Amsterdam.

Fantastic food at Cannibale Royale. We both opted for baby back ribs with French fries and both really enjoyed them. We had nachos with chicken for a starter and this was superb; however, it was actually served after the ribs. I'd recommend visiting if in Amsterdam.

The tomahawk was the highlight of the meal. Though a long wait but worth it. Good cut of meat done just perfect for me. The fries were thin cut and crispy. Their signature ribs were tender just a little too much sauce. Their in house beer is light and fruity and went down perfectly with the meal. Our server also deserves a special mention as she was the only one working for a half packed restaurant.

We made a reservation as we knew ot os quite buzy. We ordered Tomahawk steak, and it was delicious. Try the garlic bread and end the meal with their fantactic cheesecake. The waiters are very polite and helpful. Prices are reasonable for the high quality they offer.

Not our first time at cannibale royale, but if the two first visits left a pretty good feeling, this time was a bit disappointing … We took the ribeye and one if the supposed master piece of the place, the cote de bœuf. Quality of the meat was good, however i think the weight and thickness were not proper, leading to a cooking that was a bit off to say the least…the rare became medium and for a place dedicated to meat lover, that is a bit off putting…Sides were pretty good, the desert fair and service good. Overall with respect to previous visits the quality went down…may be growing the franchise a bit fast is no stranger to this disappointing experience…

Absolutely delicious food here. After a couple of hours drinking we stopped after being recommended by a few bar owners. We ordered the rib eye, roasted cauliflower and it was amazing. Staff were excellent, menu also excellent for different palates, prices were great!!! It was easy to get a table, service was on point, crowd wasn’t loud or anything. Also recommend giving this try. Won’t regret it.

We had dinner there yesterday. Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were welcomed warmly. We quickly got a table upstairs, just as we had hoped. The staff were all very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. With cocktails, drinks, food, and a small tip, we ended up paying around 100 euros — totally fair for what you get.

I celebrated my birthday with friends. Due to one person running a workshop in the evening, we came for lunch. All our wishes were fulfilled, the staff was sweet, attentive and eager to make this a great experience. The food is just SOOOOO good, not only tasteful and healthy. I had a meal with friends. I ordered the pork ribs, and the portion was enough to make a girl feel very full. The ribs were grilled quite well, and the barbecue sauce on top was very fragrant. Paired with the side barbecue sauce, which added a tangy flavor, it was really delicious. My friend’s steak was also very tender and tasty. The sweet potato fries did not disappoint either. The Dutch really know how to make fried foods. Maybe it’s also because I personally love sweet potatoes, so I gave it a high rating. After all, it’s not easy to make this dish taste bad.

I had a really good experience at Cannibale Royale in Amsterdam. The quality of the meat was great—tender, and cooked just right. The service was also nice, with friendly and welcoming staff. Good cocktails card. Liked homemade fries. The Caesar salad was good, though I’d suggest using a little less mayonnaise—just a recommendation for the chef. Also tried the baked Camembert, which I liked, though I prefer a milder taste. The spiciness might have been the chef’s choice, but I would have preferred it less spicy. Overall, a positive experience. A solid restaurant!

The signature burger is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. My partner also really enjoyed her flat iron steak and she is very picky with her meat so if they past the test it most be great 🙂 The only downside is that the area is a bit dodgy at night but once inside all is good

This Cannibale Royale is a nice place to enjoy some good quality and tasty food! Great location which is easily reachable by ferry from Amsterdam Central station. Definitely recommended to make a reservation in advance online, since it can be very busy. The restaurant itself feels spacious and has a cozy atmosphere at the same time. The personnel is welcoming and helpful. Dishes that I recommend are the Rib eye with chimichurri and the tender Cannibale’s Favourite Ribs. Sides that I recommend are the delicious Mac ‘n Cheese and the Watermelon Salad (keep in mind, the feta cheese is already mixed in and is not possible to order without it). I have been here several times, and the overall experience is great every time. Definitely recommended to spend some quality time here by yourself, with friends and with your families!
