I had a really good experience at Cannibale Royale in Amsterdam. The quality of the meat was great—tender, and cooked just right. The service was also nice, with friendly and welcoming staff. Good cocktails card. Liked homemade fries. The Caesar salad was good, though I’d suggest using a little less mayonnaise—just a recommendation for the chef. Also tried the baked Camembert, which I liked, though I prefer a milder taste. The spiciness might have been the chef’s choice, but I would have preferred it less spicy. Overall, a positive experience. A solid restaurant!

I'm a big fan of ribs, and I can say that they are the best I've ever eaten in my life, the meat melts in your mouth, incredible flavor. The place is decorated in a very cool way and the staff is nice!

Very good food and excellent service! I’ve been twice so far, and would absolutely recommend to friends and family. Generous portions of appetizers and main dishes and a nice selection of local/craft beers as well as name brands. Cocktail bar looked good as well. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. A great spot for steaks, burgers, or just appetizers and drinks.

Great menu with a good offer of sides, the food arrived pretty fast, the place is big and can accommodate many customers. The offer of vegetarian options is very tasty (I am not vegetarian, but I appreciate places that offer different alternatives). I recommend it, and I will return. The staff is better trained than the average Amsterdam service, and it shows.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible experience at Cannibals Royale in Amsterdam! 🏙️✨ Visited with friends, and it was absolutely lovely. The atmosphere and vibe are super relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind. 🕯️ The food is out of this world. 🌟 vegetarian offering. I was so impressed by the options; I didn’t feel left out at all! 🥗💚 And let’s talk about the desserts… divine is the only word! 🍰😋 The staff and service? Spot on. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. 🙌 Can’t wait to come back!

The signature burger is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. My partner also really enjoyed her flat iron steak and she is very picky with her meat so if they past the test it most be great 🙂 The only downside is that the area is a bit dodgy at night but once inside all is good

We had beer and red wine for drinks, along with sandwiches and a burger for food—everything was delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and had a great authentic feel. The only downside was that the French fries were a bit too small, and the service could have been better. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic grill spot, burger was perfectly cooked, there were lots of beers to choose from and we settled on the Oedipus Pilsner and then some cocktails which were solid and just what we needed. So much variety on the menu we would need to return to confirm if the steak and ribs are as good as they look.

If you enjoy delicious meats, barbecue, chill vibes and good service and cocktails, Cannibale hits the spot. Get the ribs, you will not be disappointed. Atmosphere is welcoming, and has an industrial meets a cabin in the woods meets a rocker vibe. Great place for a meal and they’re open late!

I am not a meat eater, but my boyfriend is. He said his bavette was really good. I had an amazing lobster tail. It was cooked properly and really tender. All the sides were a nice addition too. The corn was lovely, but it could use some more salt. I really love the cozy and homey style of the restaurant. Will come again.

Fantastic food at Cannibale Royale. We both opted for baby back ribs with French fries and both really enjoyed them. We had nachos with chicken for a starter and this was superb; however, it was actually served after the ribs. I'd recommend visiting if in Amsterdam.

This place its a perfect match for gluten free, keto, or paleo diet. You can enjoy a very nice juicy fat steak with great chimichurri and onions. For me simplicity it’s key and the fact that you can choose by meat cut and really get your attention on the quality of the meat is key: we chose Le Modeste, 300 grams of pure joy . The meat was succulent , a exquisite combination of juiciness, softness and leanness and perfectly grilled, and on point medium rare. Topped with big chunks of salt.

Annoyingly didn’t get many good pictures – but the place itself is bloody lovely! Food is reeeeally nice, atmosphere is great and the staff were super speedy! Odd little place to get to on foot but would definitely recommend the walk and sights about!

Not our first time at cannibale royale, but if the two first visits left a pretty good feeling, this time was a bit disappointing … We took the ribeye and one if the supposed master piece of the place, the cote de bœuf. Quality of the meat was good, however i think the weight and thickness were not proper, leading to a cooking that was a bit off to say the least…the rare became medium and for a place dedicated to meat lover, that is a bit off putting…Sides were pretty good, the desert fair and service good. Overall with respect to previous visits the quality went down…may be growing the franchise a bit fast is no stranger to this disappointing experience…

Very cozy burger and steak place. We ordered 2 different burgers. The Cannibale Royal one was great, very balanced taste. The sauce was a bit too much, taking a bit of the patty flavor. The chicken burger has an Indonesian touch, with chili sauce, very well made. Sweet potato fries were also nice. The service was great too. I recommend dining here.

I went in with my girlfriend and another couple for my friends birthday. It was great food with great staff and great service! If you are in doubt to try to eat here, don’t hesitate and call them to come in. You will not regret it and i can probably assure you that you will be back here soon! Stopped by after a long day of walking around. This place was reccomend by a bar a few blocks away at having the best steaks, so I decided to give them a try. Sat at the bar. Ordered a steak medium with fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries hot & crispy. Bartender was friendly & chatty, which is always a plus. Would definitely stop by next time around. Reasonably priced as well.

Great place with – as what’s in a name – great meat. We were here at lunch time and everything was good. The service, with friendly staff, but also the seats, the room and atmosphere. Perfect for little groups and great food. The beer selection is good too. If you choose the hamburger it’s not a tiny one you are familiar with at McD……. but a big one for a great appetite.

This Cannibale Royale is a nice place to enjoy some good quality and tasty food! Great location which is easily reachable by ferry from Amsterdam Central station. Definitely recommended to make a reservation in advance online, since it can be very busy. The restaurant itself feels spacious and has a cozy atmosphere at the same time. The personnel is welcoming and helpful. Dishes that I recommend are the Rib eye with chimichurri and the tender Cannibale’s Favourite Ribs. Sides that I recommend are the delicious Mac ‘n Cheese and the Watermelon Salad (keep in mind, the feta cheese is already mixed in and is not possible to order without it). I have been here several times, and the overall experience is great every time. Definitely recommended to spend some quality time here by yourself, with friends and with your families!

We came there late Sunday evening and it was fully packed. Nevertheless we got a table for 2. Very nice design and atmosphere including friendly staff. Steak and Hamburger were served on the fly and were tender, soft and DELICIOUS!! Very nice local brewery beers. Everything at a reasonable price. Definitely a place to go for Meat lovers ♥️.

This was such a fun place to come with local friends. The menu was inclusive for all, veggie and meat lovers. Cauliflower wings were awesome, sweet potato fries were good too and the burgers were really really enjoyable and satisfying. My only recommendation is working on their burger temperatures. We asked for medium and they were very well done. Other than that, fun and friendly scene! Great drink options.

Coming here for the third time, after ordering my second burger, I must advise that there’s nothing special about their burgers. Plus, fries were terribly oversalted, which we couldn’t eat. Somehow, they only decided to deduct one of the fries off the bill, which we thought was strange. Nevertheless, the nacho was absolutely stunning. Service is quite acceptable and easy to find parking around at a very reasonable rate compared to central Amsterdam.

Been here twice and this is one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam already. Their beef short rib is perfection! Meat is tender and well seasoned. Their Mac and cheese is so comforting. Prices are as reasonable as you can get for a proper steak house. First time tried their ribeye, which was also great.

The atmosphere and food is fantastic, no issue there, really recommend the food. The problem is service, everything was so good until end of dinner when we asked to split a bill. Waitress told us that she has no time, left the bill on our table and told To ask her colleagues. Then we met her second time and double check if she could help us or we should go to the bar to pay. She was very unhappy and that was clearly visible on her face and emotions. She said she doesn’t know how to do this. We politely explained that every restaurant does that plus we have to pay separately because this is a business dinner and we have to provide the bills(we shouldn’t have to explain our self, but still we politely explained). This is not a mission impossible. Anyways the waitress was like – “ok what are the amounts….” And after paying separately we even apologized even when we shouldn’t have, then the waitress said- I am so annoyed when people ask to split.. then we explained our self second time.. honestly I understand when you are busy and tired but this is not justifying bad customer service. If you cannot keep your emotions and opinions to your self- this work is not for you.

The tomahawk was the highlight of the meal. Though a long wait but worth it. Good cut of meat done just perfect for me. The fries were thin cut and crispy. Their signature ribs were tender just a little too much sauce. Their in house beer is light and fruity and went down perfectly with the meal. Our server also deserves a special mention as she was the only one working for a half packed restaurant.

This place is amazing, the staff was really nice and the food was the best. I got the ribs which were so good, tasty glazing and cooked to perfection. I also got the sweet potato fries which were great. For dessert I got the cheesecake after it was recommended to me and it was great. Will sure come back next time I'm in Amsterdam.
